This film has plenty of lovely moments, including the joy of watching Danny Kaye and Louis Armstrong. But all in all, even if based on the true life-story of trumpeter Red Nichols, its over-sentimental and does not fully stand the test of time. Take it out if you are looking for a couple of hours of feel-good movie but lower your expectations.
