Me Tarzan, you June... This light summer romantic action flick is easy to forget. It never elevates to the suspense or sophistication of the Bourne series, nor does it succeed in creating the charm of Romancing The Stone. In its first part it actually reminded me in a strange sort of way the old Tarzan movies... Yet, the film achieves most of what it seems to have set to do – provide light entertainment. And it does so, much because of the nice chemistry of its leads – Cruise and Diaz, both comfortable in their roles and with each other.
After some consideration I am giving it a doubtful 3 star rating and not just 2 stars as it fits into my 3-star definition: If you must watch a movie and there is nothing else out there...
