Sometimes all the elements come together and magic is created; magic fairy-tales are made of. That was the case with the wonderful Princess Bride and that is definitely the case with the delightful Stardust. Based on a novel by Neil Gaiman, Stardust is directed by Matthew Vaughn who orchestrates excellent performances out of a cast which includes Charlie Cox, Ben Barnes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Claire Danes and Robert De Niro to mention a few, with narration by Ian McKellen. The story is witty, heart-warming, and plain simply delightful, one that immediately becomes a classic.
Robert De Niro steals the show in a side-role of a sky pirate with a fetish I will not disclose but only mention that once you see you will remember with a smile.
